Yellow Clinical Waste Sacks
Yellow clinical waste sacks are widely used in the healthcare industry to ensure the safe disposal of various medical, dental and pharmaceutical products. As outlined by the Department of Health, plastic bin liners in hospitals, healthcare centres, dental and doctors’ surgeries are colour-coded to ensure that hazardous and non-hazardous waste is disposed of properly and in accordance with clinical waste regulations.
As recommended by the Safe Management of Healthcare Waste Memorandum, yellow sacks/bin liners should be used to store and transport clinical and highly infectious waste for incineration.
