The Anti-Corrosion additive (4%) is applied to the Clear Film and a Coloured Tint applied
The colour is purely for coding and the 3 tints are most popular with Car Part Manufacturers. The tint does vary and some bags are a little for opaque than other batches. The minimum colour additive is 3%. VCI bags can be reused, provided the bag is clean, dry and undamaged. After prolonged use, the bag's effectiveness will wear off. If stored in its original, airtight packaging; a VCI bag has a shelf life of up to 3 years
