Specialised protective material used in the meat industry to cover sharp bone edges before vacuum sealing or shrink wrapping. Its primary purpose is to prevent bones from puncturing the packaging.
Available in a Waxed Bone Guard in either an impregnated cloth or non-woven fabric that is highly flexible and can be moulded around bone ends. Widely used for lamb, beef and pork.
